2022 - Ongoing

Suddenly, I got an idea for this project after many hours of research and discussion with colleagues. I'm getting into this. When I got into this project with an existing idea, I started with User Research.

Role

Background

Did you know!

Only two percent of our dreams show certain events from our real life, they are called episodic dreams.

The rest of our dreams form fragments of imagination and memories related to the dreamer's interests.

  • The brain is active all night, with particularly intense brain activity in the forebrain and midbrain during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which is when we dream.

  • 7 in 10 adults reported that workplace stress affects their relationships.

If you work 40 hours a week from age 20 to 65 you will work just over 90,000 hours in your lifetime.

A person sleeps for 8 hours in a day, which means that an average person will sleep for 229,961 hours or one-third of their life. That’s the precious time we could have spent watching Game of Thrones 3294 times.

  • 83% of US workers suffer from work-related stress.

  • 40% of workers reported their job was very or extremely stressful.

When you sleep, your brain strings together random fragments from your memories and imagination to create dreams.

How does the Brain Paint Your Dreams?

Everything we see, imagine, or think about is linked to neural responses somewhere in the brain. Neural activity in the primary sensory areas of the neocortex produces the impression of sensory perception. This means that neurons firing (constant electrical signals) in the primary visual cortex create the illusion of seeing things, neurons firing in the primary auditory area create the illusion of hearing things, and so forth. If that firing occurs at random, these perceptions can feel like crazy, randomly fragmented hallucinations. It is easy to imagine that the random imagery and sensations created in this way could be woven together to create a complex, multisensory hallucination that we might call a dream.

Overview

In LUCID, users can customize their dream. They can do whatever they want with the help of LUCID Technological products (both hardware and software).

Problem Statement

We run every day for our needs. We spend one-third of our life in bed and the other one-third of our life at work. 6 in 10 adults listed work and money as significant sources of stress. How to utilize every bit of our lifecycle? Let see

Are you ready to spend money to personalize your dream?

  • I researched around 100 people through an online form to get details about their sleeping patterns and work type and I list out some charts.

  • As I mention above, I already have an idea for this project. but, after user research, I get some new problem-solving solutions.

Early Solution

  • Sleep takes around 30% of our lifetime. What happens, If we combine work and sleep at the same time?

  • In our modern life, Two-thirds of our life lead one-third of our life.

  • Here, I'm going to change the “one-third of our life to lead two-thirds of our life”.

  • To overcome it, what are the solutions to do that:

Reduce Excessive Sleep

Work from Home

Spend others money

Work in Dream

Designed for

LUCID technology is specially designed for working people, students, special people, and creators. Software-related working people can move their working desks into their dream. Students can study extra time in their dreams. Special People can access their all-human features in LUCID. Creators, just make they create what they think within seconds.

Function

The user's day-to-day workspace simultaneously syncs to LUCID Cloud. Here, LUCID AI sends cloud data to the LUCID Dream Band. While sleeping, the LUCID Dream Band (LDB) converts digital data into an electric signal. LDB passes the electric signal into the nerve it can pass through the brain. This Electric Frequency creates LUCID Work Space (LWS) in the user's brain in the form of a Dream. LUCID Noise Cancellation 4D Transmitter (LNC4DT) helps to concentrate in Dreams by omitting Active Noise Cancellation technology and importantly receiving data from the brain and sending data to the LUCID Cloud with the help of implanted 4D scanner into it. This Implant scanner, scan the neurons and analyze the flow of electricity and decode this image detail into digital data. In the LUCID APP, users can manage and track LUCID Cloud, Avatars, key features, and more.

METAVERSE x LUCID

In futurism and science fiction, the metaverse is a hypothetical iteration of the Internet as a single, universal and immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual reality and augmented reality headsets. In colloquial use, a metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection.

In the future, users can experience Metaverse without VR and feel most sense through your dream with LUCID Technology.

Conclusion

  • LUCID Technology can lead humans to open a new door for Human Generation. Here, I create this project as a UI UX Designer. With the help of neuroscientists, developers, and engineers, LUCID will be developed as a fully functional technology in the future, and I hope to get this project in your hands soon.

  • LUCID Technology is not only for dream customization. In the future, we will create a parallel world in our brains to extend our lifespan to the desired taste. We can switch between alternate and real life.

  • I learned a lot from this project. Since I don't know fully about the brain, I just convey my idea into a product.
